Meet the Founder

My name is Judy, and I founded Paws & Purpose in 2026 out of a lifelong love for animals and a belief that every animal deserves compassion, protection, and a voice.

The inspiration for Paws & Purpose came after learning about the beagles bred and used in medical experiments. Seeing whistleblower photographs and videos of these animals had a profound impact on me. Knowing that beagles are often chosen because of their gentle, trusting, and forgiving nature made the reality even more heartbreaking. I couldn't stop thinking about what they were enduring, and I reached a point where simply feeling upset wasn't enough—I knew I had to take meaningful action.

Animals have always been an important part of my life. I currently share my home with two dogs, a cat, and a ferret, and I have spent years caring for animals and supporting animal welfare efforts. My volunteer experience includes transporting animals and supplies for rescue organizations, assisting at local farms, and working directly with animals in need.

Paws & Purpose was created to raise awareness about animal welfare issues, with a particular focus on animals bred for experimentation and testing. My vision is for Paws & Purpose to become a trusted and recognized voice in animal advocacy—an organization that people think of when they want to learn, get involved, and make a difference for animals.

As Paws & Purpose grows, I hope to expand our impact through educational initiatives, rescue support, community outreach, and programs that help make spay and neuter services more accessible. Above all, I believe that animals cannot advocate for themselves. It is our responsibility to be their voice, to educate others, and to encourage a more compassionate world.

Every step forward begins with awareness, and I am grateful to everyone who joins us in creating a better future for animals.
